Superfood Protein Bites

3 c. rolled oats

1 c. vanilla protein powder

1/2 c. chia seeds

1/2 c. hemp

1/4 c. ground flax seed

1/2 c. local Honey

1/2 c. unsweetened applesauce

1/2. c. Almond butter or peanut butter

1/4 c. coconut oil, melted

2 t. vanilla

Mix the oats, protein, chia, hemp, and flax. Then add almond butter (any nut butter is fine), honey, apple sauce, coconut oil and vanillla.

Spread into an 8x8 pan and refrigerate for a few hours or overnight and cut into bars, OR roll into cooking dough size balls and refrigerate in a tupperware between sheetsof wax paper.

*variation: add mini dark chocolate chips, or melted dark chocolate to the top
